Proud Member of the Chamber Logo/Symbol
Members must agree to comply with the following usage rules:
- The PROUD MEMBER Logos (“the Logo” or “Logos”) may only be used by a Chamber member in good standing who is not past due on membership dues.
- The user acknowledges that the Logo is a certification mark owned by the Chamber of Commerce.
- The user may not use the Logo as a trademark, i.e., the Logo may not be used to identify the source of goods and/or services offered by the user.
- You may not alter or re-create the Logo in any manner.
- The Logo must be used as-is, and the user may not incorporate any other wording or designs into the Logo.
- You may not display the Logo in any way that disparages the Chamber of Commerce or its products or services.
- If the Logo is posted on an chamber member’s Web site, it must have an active link to the Chamber home page, http://www.NorthwestValleyChamber.com
- The Logo may be used on a member’s: website, social media, promotional materials including letterhead and business cards.
- Always be cautious not to misrepresent your affiliation with the Chamber through logo usage. The use of the Chamber logo does imply any endorsement of a company, product or service.
Policy Enforcement
The Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to terminate or modify permission to display the Logos at any time. The Chamber reserves the right to take action against any user who fails to conform to these policies, infringes any Chamber of Commerce intellectual property or other rights, or violates other applicable law.
Chamber staff will notify the violators of this policy and the details of the specific violation in writing a formally requesting compliance with Chamber policy. If the matter is not resolved, staff will refer the matter to the Chamber CEO for review. If the Chamber CEO deems a violation has occurred, will refer the matter to legal counsel for review and additional action.
