Q: What is the Chamber of Commerce?

A: The Northwest Valley Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business and is the largest business organization in the NW Valley. We advocate for businesses at the federal, state & local level to ensure an environment where business can prosper. Our programs help members connect with peers, and we help our members build their brand and generate sales.  Our paid members – range from one-person shops to corporations with more than 5,000 employees – all working to bring the NW Valley to its full potential.

Q: What are the benefits of joining the Chamber of Commerce?

A: Chamber membership is an investment in your business and the community. As a member, you become connected to ideas, people, and businesses. We are confident; we provide value to our members as a connector, convener, and champion for the business community. Q: What kind of advocacy work does the Chamber do?

A: The Chamber amplifies the voice of the business community at all levels of government to promote the NW Valley as an economic engine and make the region more competitive and more prosperous.  ​Fighting for Businesses Small and Large, is what we are about! Whether it's setting legislative goals, working with our lobbyist, sending out Action Alerts, or keeping voters informed through our forums, the goal is ensuring an environment where business can prosper.

Q: What geographic area do you represent?

A: The Chamber of Commerce is a regional chamber serving the NW Valley – including El Mirage, Sun City, Sun City Grand, Sun City West, Surprise, Waddell and Wittmann. When you join the Chamber your membership is for seven communities! Thirty-five percent of our members are from surrounding communities – Glendale, Peoria, Goodyear and Phoenix.

Q: What are the dues? Are dues tax-deductible?

A:There are different membership levels available for businesses. Dues are based on your needs and objectives. 95% of Chamber dues are deductible for federal income tax purposes as a business expense. The Chamber annual pricing structure varies from a basic membership package to Community Stakeholders. Special pricing is also available for micro and home-based businesses with no employees.
