The Chamber of Commerce is one the most credible and trusted brands by both both consumers and businesses alike. We dedicated to protecting your privacy and the privacy of our members and constituents. To that end, we have instituted certain policies to help us make sure our data files remains a safe, trusted and secure environment. 

Our Commitment to Confidentiality

The Chamber of Commerce upholds a strict policy of confidentiality. We do not rent, sell, trade, or share our lists. This practice ensures that we maintain control over the use of our data and remain compliant with all levels of legal requirements. It is a standard business practice to protect the privacy of customers, donors, and prospects, and we adhere to this principle without exception.

Directory Listing: A company may elect to have there company opt-in to a  Chamber directory listing. We do not disclose the owners name, home/mobile  number or email to the public, or any third parties, including memebrs. 
 

Why we don’t allow list rentals or purchases
The Chamber goes beyond the Can-Spam law to prohibit the sending of unsolicited commercial mail, emails and text messages. The Chamber is working toward a true permission-based list, where as we seek permission from our members and the public to send them specific kinds of information.

When the Chamber sends emails or text messages to you
The only messages you’ll receive from us will be messages related to your account or to inform you of Chamber events and activities. We might alert you to new features or site enhancements. Some of those emails may be directed to everyone, and some of them may be written just for you. We do not forward unsolicited communications on behalf of other businesses. 

Ensuring secure billing transactions
You are asked to supply certain credit card and billing information to purchase services. That information is transferred, using secure transmission technology, to a trusted, PCI compliant, third party for processing and securely stored by them to handle your transactions. Your credit card information is not stored on the Chamber website or in our database. We do not have access to your credit card information.

Federal law requires us to tell you how we collect, use, share, and protect the personal/business information we are entrusted with. Federal law also limits how we can use your personal information. Protecting the privacy and security of consumers' personal information is very important to us. The Chamber collects personal information about businesses and individuals . We collect and use only the information necessary to conduct Chamber business. In most instances, we collect minimal personal information on consumers, such as name, address, telephone number, or email address, employee data, membership/contribution levels, etc. We also may collect other personal information such as credit card account numbers, event participation rates, email open rates, etc. We also may collect information about your visits to our websites for security and internal operations purposes.

PROTECTING YOUR PRIVACY 
We will not, in any circumstances, share, sell, rent, trade or divulge your personal or business information with third parties including individuals, Chamber members, organizations or businesses. 

The Northwest Vally Chamber of Commerece (the “Company”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is designed to help you understand what information we gather, how we use it, what we do to protect it, and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Service. Unless otherwise indicated below, this Privacy Policy applies to any website that references this Privacy Policy, any Company website, well as any data the Company may collect across partnered and unaffiliated sites. 

For purposes of this Agreement, “Service” refers to the Company’s service which can be accessed via a Chamber website at such as http://www.surpriseregionalchamber.com or through our mobile phone application. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Company. “You” refers to you, as a user of Service.

In general, we use Non-Personal Information to help us improve the Service and customize the user experience.
