Our Commitment to Unbiased Operations

At the Northwest Valley Chamber of Commerce, we are dedicated to maintaining independence and ensuring our operations remain free from governmental influence.

Unlike many chambers that include elected officials on their boards or receive government funding, we proudly accept no government funding at any level. This approach ensures that we can fully advocate for the business community's interests without external pressures.

Research by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce indicates that chambers with government ties are significantly less likely to engage in political endorsements or public policy advocacy.

To avoid conflicts of interest, our Chamber precludes government officials from holding official roles, while fostering constructive dialogues with them when mutual objectives align.

This steadfast commitment ensures we remain focused on serving and representing the true interests of our local businesses.

Token Contributions: Insignificant Government Membership Revenue

While we maintain free from government influence and funding, some departments within government, such as economic development, are allowed to purchase low-end memberships. However, this constitutes an insignificant revenue source, typically not exceeding $2,500 annually. Our commitment to independence ensures that our primary focus remains on advocating for the interests of the business community.
