MEET YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS

One way we increase awareness about the Surprise Regional Chamber of Commerce and our businesses agenda is to invite elected officials to Chamber events.

These activities also provide you an excellent opportunity to develop or strengthen relationships with local, state, and federal officials.

It is important to note that a “meet and greet” opportunities often leads to more formal discussions about a particular issue.

Having elected official attend events  provides participants with an opportunity to develop relationships with individuals who may be in positions to make decisions affecting their companies, employees, and industry.

Developing relationships early with an elected official  is a real help in influencing future public policy decisions. Since a strong personal relationship with policymakers is essential to successful grassroots advocacy, our activities are an effective tool in building long-term relationships and moving forward Chamber's legislative agenda.
