The Chamber is Your Official Source for a Certificate of Origin
Here is a summary of the process to obtain a Certificate of Origin (CO):
- Fill out and notarize the appropriate Certification affidavit.
- Provide invoices indicating where your goods are manufactured.
- Complete the CO document.
- Complete the Inquiry form above and attach the notarized affidavit, CO document, and invoices.
- Indicate which documents you want stamped.
- Email proof of your position and identity of the signatory.
- If you are not a member of the Chamber, provide additional documentation such as a business license or registration.
- All CO requests are subject to a site inspection by the Chamber to assess both the location and the goods being produced.
- Remember, the Chamber can only certify information they can verify, and exporters cannot stamp the document themselves. Always check the current criteria for a CO before sending your shipment.
